Procedural Generation Competition

In the continued argument why everything old is new again, TIGSource is now running a procedural content generation game programming competition.

You may remember previously (Make a Game March Madness) that the Independent Gaming Source ran a video game design competition based on the Video Game Name Generator, resulting in a significant number of entries that received wide spread coverage.

This time around the theme of the game is something dear to my heart, with an emphasis on "generating new content every time the player starts the game" and you have from Monday, May 5th to Monday, June 2nd to write your procedural pièce de résistance.

And they've thoughtfully linked to something I wrote on the subject.
